.....I’ll be watching today’s 2.30 at Naas with interest, Lord Royal was looking good on chasing debut before taking a nasty fall. It’s good to see him out so soon but has a few difficult opponents.
Hoping somebody requests a Lord Royal ‘win today & RSA’ price.

I'll ask Sky.
Edit: I've asked WH too.

Really enjoyed that bounce back to form by Fusil Raffles at the weekend, and had noted a few times that he needed the step up in trip
Do I think he can put it up to Envoi Allen? Absolutely not, but he is a nice alternative to have in the book.
On Chantry House, he's only been given a rating of 147, same as his hurdles one, so I'd imagine they could also be looking at the handicap option with him now, if they don't stick him right up in trip next time out.
I noticed Allart had an entry at Ludlow on Wednesday over 2m4f, which he hasn’t taken up on.
He’s also entered this week at Ascot in the Grade 2 chase on Friday just shy of 2m3f. Will be interesting if he takes up that engagement, Pic D entered along with Fiddlerontheroof.
Sure Nicky said he would stick to 2m, unless Chantry bombing out last week has changed his opinion.

They may consider a hurdles race for Chantry House next time out.
He struggled with the Cheltenham fences.
Is the 3f drop in trip going to suit lord royal today?
If hes trying coko beach has a good chance, you do get a feeling Gordon wants to keep his handicap mark down though
....probably happy to get a blow and confidence into Lord Royal after its bad fall last time. I wasn’t tempted by the 40-1 ‘today & festival’ offer and have cashed my existing bets in for now.
A horse I completely forgot about runs tomorrow. Diese des Bieffes had really strong handicap hurdle form in 2018 but hasn't been seen since. I don't know what issues he's had but he's still only 7 so if he retains his ability he could be a dark horse this season.

Ligament problems.. Dont know if he had surgery but given the time off i would think not.. Certainly one to watch..
