Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

They do think he is better suited to a flat track so missing Cheltenham may give him a better chance of winning there. Hopefully he'll run in both as I've bet him at big odds for the Arkle like many on here.

If there had been something in Ireland for him, perhaps, but as there's not i'd be shocked if he's not on the boat. They weren't scared to run him at Galway in the summer just past.

        • ....had to get Lord Royal back on side before it runs in a trappy looking chase tomorrow. I’ll be interested in there’s any ‘win today/RSA’ Lord Royal offers in the morning.

Tough race for a beginners chase with Sempo, Longhouse Poet and Coko Beach running as well

            • Chatham Street Lad introduced @ 16/1 generally. Pretty generous considering he got an RPR of 160 for yesterdays race. 1 point @ 16/1.

              • Protektorat to run in Dipper chase next at Cheltenham on NYD. Skelton says he's definitely happier over 2 1/2 miles. Marsh chase beckons.

He was a useful handicap hurdler in early 2019,producing 3 runs in the 140s. They had tried chasing in 2018, 3 runs in 16 days, 6th 9th and ur. Since Feb 2019 he has been out of action for 600 days except one poor run in July 2019.

Back to chasing in October this year and won a handicap chase readily off a handicap rating 16lb lower than his hurdles rating. Bounced imo a week later and has won his next two by 5l and 15l. So a late burner who was an obvious to go down the handicap chase route
