Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

I watched it Charlie, to me it seemed the 9 fences taken out for low sun was a hinderance to him!

Having his first run for 260 odd days or something and they seemed to really turn the taps early down the back the final time and he couldn’t go with them.

I’d be more inclined to put a line through that run, he jumped well of the ones they did jump.

Ah fair play Craigy, I didn't watch it but it sounds like my post can be ignored!

Handicap job. Ultima will be the one, as put up in the Handicap thread.

First race over fences and they stick him in a Novices Handicap having to carry 12-2, was always going to be a ridiculous ask for any horse let alone a first time out job. Most start in beginners chases

Ah fair play COD, great points.

I've been schooled twice on this now!

No intention to school you haha.

I just founded it mad they'd stick him in a novices handicap at such a weight. Then, as noted above, most of the fences were taken out too, which definitely didn't help as the jumping he did do looked pretty good

              • I see Easywork and Pencilfulloflead have entries (among others, but they seem the most likely?) for the Fort Leney (Neville Hotels Novice Chase)over 3miles at Leopardstown on Dec 29th. Gordon Elliott has won 4 of the last 5 runnings and in the same season they went to the following Cheltenham festival races:

                2019: Battleoverdoyen, RSA - 4th (10 ran)
                2018: Delta Work, RSA - 3rd (12)
                2017: Shattered Love, JLT - 1st (9)
                2015: No More Heroes, RSA - 4th (8)

Interestingly (well I thought so...) and unlike some others including his main rival, he's never gone into an RSA with more than 1 runner.

He ran champagne classic his NHC horse in that race too against BoD

Agree with this & could be a very nice bet at current prices

                        • Are fellow five o’clock backers starting to worry about his well being at all? Seemed he was ready to go, probably got at least 5 entries he never took up around the same time TBG & monkfish first came out, now he’s not received an entry anywhere for about 2 weeks. Anybody heard anything?

                            • Nothing to trouble anything at G1 level there. Hugely disappointing from Chantry. Fusil one of those that is just impossible to trust as a punter - although another Hendo horse who apparently can't do it on soft...
