Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

  • TBG is some dope of a horse, 4 miler all day.

    • I’d be surprised if that was The Big Getaway’s true running - he clattered the first and nearly put down on the flat after the second. Wouldn’t surprise me if he hurt himself at the first. Either way you couldn’t be confident after that.

      • Both him and the big breakaway look very raw and gangly

monkfish however is huge but also looked nimble and athletic at the same time

he will take alot of beating

Surely you can't win a Grade 1 Novice Chase over 2 miles and consider skipping The Arkle?

What's the gap between the two festivals this year though?

He was turned over last year at odds on so perhaps he just needs a seasonal reappearance.

              Terrible?!

              Bit of a stretch.

I wouldn't skip it but not sure about the Skelton's. They bypassed Cheltenham with Nuba Negra last season and he was a similar type.

He'd take pegging back at Aintree.

Way too premature for talk like this no? Don't get me wrong, I was the first to come on here and say I was disappointed with TBG, but the post chase debut reactions on here are so definitive in their conclusions at the moment.

Nube Negra got beaten in the same race though and then got beaten NTO...

Perhaps if beaten NTO they'd consider it.

Still, won't dwell on it too much, I think he may well be the second best 2 mile chaser we've seen so far (probably quite obvious!)

I've taken this for the 4-miler as cover for my RSA positions which admittedly look weaker, but I'd want to see him again before giving up hope

                        • Not impressed with Andy Dufresne - not on him at all and no interest in adding him.

I thought his jumping was rubbish on chase debut

                              • I was happy with The Big Getaway until it looked like he completely emptied. I'm hoping it was just the case he really needed the run and I won't be cashing out just yet.

I took the view the Ballymore horses were better than the AB but the two Bigs have not confirmed that yet. Lets hope Easywork is better or my RSA book will look really bad!
