Backing anything antepost for the Festival trained by the Tizzards, should be by exception.

Obviously not ideal running over such a distance before the Irish National which is 3 weeks later. She could even win the NHC and maybe not even go up much. Last few years winners were 153,150 and 154. Trainer didn't seem certain which way they would go after the race and said they will see what the handicapper does.
The prize money should sway them and if she was mine id be trying to get a few pounds off and go back for the big one. Anybody have any strong opinions as to where she will end up?Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more I sweat, the luckier I get.

I suspect given the yard, that connections won't be shy having a bet either. The source of sufficient money to move her price may well be closer to home that the tipsters.Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more I sweat, the luckier I get.

Court Maid is the proper second favourite in race that up until now didn't really have a second favourite. As I said elsewhere she can only have one crack at the National Hunt Chase. It would be a strange owner who doesn't want a Cheltenham Festival winner. She was 20/1 the other day, now she is clearly second favourite it might put a different complexion on the target, if indeed they did actually favour going elsewhere.

Not much to summarise. The Big Breakaway having looked awkward throughout eventually masters 100/1 shot but despite not jumping that fluently himself, Bold Plan sits in behind, is pulled out to challenge at the last and easily masters the favourite. The favourite looks a total mess and the suspicion would be that the winner didn't have to do an awful lot to beat him.

Interested to see where and how he goes next time out, and I'm not chucking the tickets away until then.

He didn't jump well but he's never a two and a half miler. If I had backed him, I wouldn't be giving up hope.
