Would never have touched him today dropping back over 5f in distance.
His best work at Cheltenham was up the hill he pulled away from the second that day. Baffled by the drop in trip as it has done nothing for the horse whatsoever.
Doesn't concentrate RP had to boost him into nearly every fence. When he never he made errors.

Top ride from Sean too it must be said.
He may get carried far enough once he'e up in class.
But he's not going to dictate much, at the minute anyhow.
Big dopey twat, is probably what Robbie Power was calling him all the way around.
Should have had him mic'd up for ITV.

He looks a nightmare to ride. Possibly just hates front running, but everything about him looks awkward. Will keep hold of my ticket for the RSA for now, but will look to cashout unless I see a vast improvement next time. Can't see him liking Kempton at all, so - knowing the Tizzards - we'll see him there next.

I've backed him at bigger odds for the RSA but was disappointed today most bookies have left him plenty short but skybet pushed him out to 20s which is about right. Think he may be better suited to the NH Chase based on how he runs, and as other have said he looks a horse for maybe next season.

The big boataway, obviously today was way to short a trip, but just the way he holds his head to look at the jumps and the fact Robbie constantly has to keep him up to his work is a worry. In a big field or with a strong pace he’ll struggle to hold his position. I can’t see him for the RSA now, I think he’ll be left out the back of the TV unless it’s very soft/heavy. I doubt he would have the speed in the finish as well, looks so one paced (slow). Whilst I couldn’t touch him for the RSA now, I would be keen on him if he went the National hunt chase. I think he would have the stamina to plod along leisurely over that distance.

If I was his owner I’d be asking serious questions of Colin Tizzard as to why my 3mile RSA horse is running at Exeter over 2m3f two and a half weeks after winning at Cheltenham over 3m - horrible campaigning in my opinion (not the first time from this stable)
Agree some headgear could potentially work in his favour but too many question marks over the trainer to be confident in him showing his true ability in the RSA

The odds for The Big Breakaway remain ridiculous. They will take nothing at those prices and be forced to push him out. Why would anyone fancy him at 33/1, in fact any price, let alone 8/1?
The trip today was no excuse. Exeter is a stiff track and it was testing ground. It was a very weak race and he had to be pushed along to keep up with a 100/1 shot. If that had been his first race people would be calling him a dog.
