Decent technique over a fence (to my untrained eye) from Next Destination.
Will need to improve still but RSA slips aren't in the bin....
Kalooki didn't jump well but is a decent enough scalp to take....

Very happy with Next Destination.
To step into Grade 2 company on chase debut and win, having raced for the first time in 900 days only 30 days prior to this takes some doing. He is clearly very well in himself and not feeling any ill effects from Wetherby.
Should be even better on softer ground and I can't wait to see him pitched into deeper waters

Half disappointed he didn’t put more daylight between him and the field could raise a question about his ability, wouldn’t be shocked to see him in the Ultima...

That was a as good a start as you’d want from a staying chaser by Monkfish. I’m not a backer so I have no financial gain from him but that lays down a marker for the division. The RSA is never a foregone conclusion as so many horses improve for fences and that trip, but he’ll be in the mixer for sure.

The proximity of the runner up would concern me though it’s entirely possible he has improvement to come...

ND can still be boosted with Hills to 27/1 for the RSA
