Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Disappointing but I felt like he never really traveled. Interesting to see what connections say.

      • That is a shocker. Didn't expect that. Wanted to get him on board at some stage but will hang fire now.

          • i've cashed for now.
            but not given up hope.
The winner might just be decent also.

In all fairness though it could be that he was out again so quickly, which did surprise me anyhow.

A knock for the Bartlett form?
Winner ran only 3 days earlier than LE on seasonal debut so I’m not sure you could say that.

              Pencil won easily there.

              • Think Latest Exhibition is a better horse on better ground, I wouldn't dismiss him entirely on today's run, that said I'm glad I sided with Monkfish for the RSA.

That would be my take from that jumped well just seemed to be beaten by the better horse today. Considering he started at 2 miles last season he does seem a lot slower this year.

                  • All I need now is TBB to have a lovely one and my RSA book will be looking a little sweeter

                    • Never looked comfortable, Cooper niggling to keep him going forward and into every fence to hold position. Saying that the winner has always been regarded as a decent horse who has improved for a fence but LE should be winning if any Chelt aspirations.

Looked as if happening too fast for him - potentially one for the National Hunt?

                        • Paul Nolan is operating with a very low rtf%

Il give him the benefit of the doubt this time

Yeah of course, was just offering a little hope for those on board. He wouldn't be my idea of the winner though, unless maybe the NH Chase.

                            • It was heavy going, and more than likely it will be a completely different kettle of fish come March.

The list goes on of horses beaten prior to cheltenham last year.

Agree. The way I look at it is, that the big guns who come out and win like you expect them to whatever the weather are the ones you can seriously rely on. Hoping Kettle and The Big Breakaway and Saint Roi prove that today.
