Altho you are right I've said all year he will go rsa, now its looking alot less likely, I still hope he will

I whole-heartidly agree he's an RSA horse. He's better than Discorama so I think it's obvious myself.
There weren't any worthwhile quotes Kev but its clear in my mind he thinks he's good enough for an RSA

      • Anyone seen any quotes on Shan Blue after yesterday? Won very well with a nice round of jumping.

For the most part he avoids talking bollocks and is rational how he speaks about horses and training them.
Stopped short of naming a target for Latest Exhibition, but re-iterated his preference to avoid Envoi Allen.
I agree. If Paul thinks he can't win the RSA he will put him in the NHC. No Tizzard vanity project with PN imo.

          • Did anyone wonder about January Jets (still a novice) performance against Envoi yesterday. It was a strange entry. I was trying to work out why De Bromhead ran him against EA?? Maybe De Brom has started to work out how to ready a horse for a big handicap.......Discuss......

I was impressed, hard not to be. I wonder if they'll go to the Hennessy meeting next or possibly wait for the Kauto Star at Kempton?

Or because they give out prize money for second and he knew EA would scare horses away?

Sensible, sure.... but not value against what you could have been doing?

FWIW, I have no doubts really that he'd be able to win it. I see he's 16/1 for next years Gold Cup with WH in the specials, and I see plenty got 40/1 about him to win 'any' novice chase this year and 2022 GC at 40/1 which is fair enough.

Most exciting horse in a few years for sure!

                  • Seen someone on twitter say EA is 33/1 for 2022 GC. Not sure who it was, but I can’t find the price anywhere.

                    • He was 40/1 right after the race finished in a few places.

...he was 40-1 with Sky to win any novice chase at the Festival & 2022 GC (that bet is now 20-1). Ladbrokes had win Marsh & following GC @ 45-1 (with boost).
Envoi is 16-1 with Hills/Sky to win the 2022 GC. Only 10-1 with Sky to win the Champion Chase.

Possibly. Moyross was in the race so im not sure they'd have been booked for 2nd. Just thought it was a strange placement for a novice hurdler

                            • Delighted with Next Destination's first run today in 3 years. Very good second to Roksana. I think the plan is still RSA and there's certainly lots of blue. 33/1 still available which I think is very fair

I'm going to wait on his next entry, as could easily stay over hurdles after that, IMO. Likely to come on a fair amount for that today. 33's available for that too.
