Hello Fat Jockeys,

  • Latest Exhibition was good yesterday, warmed to the task as he had a couple of novicey jumps early but that’s to be expected.

Looking forward seeing King Roland out tomorrow over fences. I think he could be really good within the novice chases. I’ve backed him for the Marsh e/w prior to his debut. Over 2m tomorrow but think he’ll step up fairly quickly next time out.

    • I'm in the positive camp for LE now, thought his jumping was a bit sticky to begin with but then he warmed to his task more as the race unfolded. His stamina kicked in as expected but we wouldn't have expected him to win that race easily would we? The race was a good standard and he didn't win his hurdle races by that much so I'd take it as a positive grinding type performance that marked him out as an RSA type horse imo. Tougher assignments to come but that set a decent standard.

      • Thank god this place is back, The Racing Forum is beyond shit compared to this place!

        • I was impressed enough with Latest Exhibition to add him further to my RSA book.

Diary will be updated shortly, as been plenty busy enough with it in the whole 24hrs we weren't able to get on here.

          • Following Patrick Mullins and others saying Appreciate It will be going hurdling, I've reluctantly cased out my 50/1 voucher for the RSA. Just watch them make a u turn now !

            • I might have to take a run over to Lisburn tomorrow and peek through the hedge at around 3, come on Envoi

Disappointed ITV racing haven't got the race on tomorrow. This is probably the most talked about jump horse to have come out of Ireland in several decades. With racing now behind closed doors it would be a perfect opportunity to promote it and Envoi to the watching million's.

Not sure Joe Public are interested in watching a horse at 1/12.

And I’m not sure they get millions of viewers on a Friday afternoon either

Don't agree at all. Not all about betting. Didn't stop the Arkle fans !? Doesn't matter what odds they are when they are that good.

                      • I'm glad I wont be involved betting wise tomorrow with Envoi, can just sit back, relax and watch how he takes a fence

                        • Several bookies streaming races free now so for those keen to see Envoi can do so without having to place a bet...

Whilst I very much appreciate the sentiment, please don't knock another forum on here.

I've gotten myself into a debate with someone on the Betfair Forum privately about the same thing and I don't want my pants pulled down for being a hypocrite

Was always speculative at best on your part. Not a value bet at 50/1 without cashout, but irrelevant in this case!

Maybe request an RSA 2021 price!

The "anything this year is a bonus" cliche is almost certaintly going to come out of one of the Mullins' mouths before the season is over?!

                              • Personally surprised at the negative comments regarding Latest Exhibition. Talk of the NH Chase for him is wide of the mark at this stage. He's going to be better than Discorama was in my opinion and I think that Paul Nolan will keep the jockey in the saddle. Latest Exhibition already has good enough form at LESS than 3m for me to think he wants the extended trip.

Whilst I can appreciate he may end up not good enough for an RSA, I think it'd be madness to assume the RSA isn't the target after that debut.
