With regards asterion forlonge, can anyone remember an example of a time when a horse who jumped as badly to the right as him was trained to jump straight? I still think that run at leopardstown was very good and he's going to go to the top when stepped up in trip, but I dont know if his jumping can be fixed to allow him to go for the marsh/rsa, maybe the different course might help him if he goes marsh? My worry with regards to backing him is that he goes unbeaten and is very impressive in the lead up to the festival without showing any signs of diving to the right, so they take a chance and bring him over only for the problem to emerge again

The concern is that whilst he may jump straighter when we see him the next couple of times. When the heat is really on he may revert to it again.
The yard though appear to have not ruled out going left handed, which I think is both a surprise and the right thing to do for now.
I think he may end up in the stayers though. And I'd back him for that for sure. As the hurdles are much better positioned for him to fuck about if he wants.
Nicholls Canyon did something similar more than once (at Leopardstown though) - and look where he ended up.

Can't decide where he fits in myself. Possibly Arkle (obvious suggestion given he's just won over 2m), or failing that, a handicap if not good enough. He wasn't stopping but I'd be surprised if he went out in trip.
