Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Why is Five O’Clock such a dour stayer with no class? He managed to win over 2m last season.
I feel like you’re looking for something from me that’s not there tbh. I like the horse. I simply think he’s tailor made for the four mile and wouldn’t be classy enough for the RSA. Just my opinion.

I’ve watched for the last 3 days Bottas nail every single session at the Portuguese GP.......then come qualifying? Lewis on pole.
      Great example!

Especially last years novices. They need to be coming out and winning open grade 1 races before I get excited for them for March - yeah, AP price will get a slamming but wasted many of credits trying to filter out the good novices instead of just waiting

      • Phoenix Way to go chasing. Missed the Pertempts due to dodgy ticker. Ok now according to Fry.

Like Chancun Por Soi.....Phoenix Way is a horse I could only bet once I saw him leave the parade safely and get to the start in one piece. I just can’t see him ever staying fit and well enough to line up in a championship race as talented as he is.

No horse running at Wexford on a Monday is a festival winner the same season.

              Easy to ignore.

In essence?? Do it when it matters, not when it doesn’t. Go and beat Shishkin in the Arkle, not 5 months in advance when it doesn’t hit any headline.

Sport only matters when it matters.
How come you've gone absolutely balls deep on Envoi Allen for a Novice Chase before he's actually jumped a fence in public then?

You knocking Shishkin, but backing Envoi Allen as if he cannot be beaten and have been advocating his price as value literally all summer.

I’m thinking the opposite and that EA actually is thinking that Shiskin is a good bet for the Arkle.

                      Oh, I'm lost then

How are Shishkin and Envoi Allen different?

Are you saying both are good bets now?

That would make sense, I disagree. Shishkin is a terrible bet at 7/2.

Altior was a better price, and won the Supreme easier, and had less competition on paper at this stage.

For all that he won, he was 5/1, so 7/2 for a horse who has achieved less isn't a good bet in October.

                      • Try 40’s, the day before he won his Supreme. And 7’s within an hour after he won his Supreme. I have good money down on both, and though I don’t know how to post photos on here, my slips are tucked away nicely for a rainy day next March.

Put the Kettle On won at Wexford before going on to win the Arkle, although that was a Saturday

                          • Any strong thoughts on Diol Ker today and going forwards?

Up against a decent field today, suspect he should be winning this, or at the very least going very close if he’s going to be Festival contender class. Not far off a year ago that he beat Monkfish and that can only look promising when viewing his potential.

I’ve backed him today and TWAR and hoping for a good performance.

It’s a trappy race for sure but his trainer puts me off him for the Festival, rather than the horse

What relevance is that to what you said though?

                                I'm still lost

Your point was about having to do it when it matters, yet you're already involved and have been for months on horses who haven't even been out yet?
