Bumper form obviously contributed to it though which is what i mean? It did look a weak renewal, but i doubt Galvin would ever be odds on in a NHC he hasn't the same profile as a CS which led punters to think it looked a virtual penalty kick!?

Errrrrrm, I dunno. I think if Galvin was Gordon's no1 (which looks likely?) and Mullins let's say has TBG, but then that gets withdrawn late on, it's not unrealistic it looks like a peno kick for Elliott and Codd?

A lot of ifs and hypothetical stuff, I think Galvin still has a good profile, his Festival course 2nd is still decent.... but I see what you're saying.

I know I personally wouldn't go over board on a Novice Chasers bumper form (unless it's Barters Hill)

Potentially yes and for last year's winning connections, just don't see him ever being as "red hot"

I wouldn't take a horses bumper form as a literal conversation but plenty will, especially those that looked at him in his early days and said "fence" being a pointer and big looking horse. Also his form with Indo on only his 2nd start over hurdles, i guess people didn't have that much to go off on CS other than the hurdle run + bumper form.
For me Galvin's got a lot less of a flashy profile on paper....not necessarily a worse one for the race though. Happy to have backed him and i've mug doubled him with envoi/marsh

Looking forward to this race hopefully he gets round and first 4 haha.
