Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

    He definitely hasn't.

Adds an extra edge to the bet. At least he has a bit of time, I remember pricking it watching Carefully Selected having to jump round to qualify knowing he’d have no time left for another chance ....loved that

Absolutely. There are loads of races for him to Q.....but not at Cork. He goes well at Cheltenham and there are a few in the November and December meetings he could go to . I'm sure I'm fretting over nothing.

        • A hell of a lot of worrying about something so stupid.

It's October. The season started less than a week ago.

It's Gordon Elliott, not Gary Moore or Colin Tizzard.

I'm actually not too thrilled at the prospect of Galvin having a run then 4 months off and re-appearing at the festival?!

That isn't exactly ideal.... how many horses don't run in the same calendar year? I know there are a few winners but it's hardly ideal!

That should be the way most of our debates end.

Tiger Roll did the same thing when he won the race.
Last run on October 31st. Then straight to the 4miler

                  Good

                  I still don't like it

The qualification criteria wasn't in place then of course. I wonder when he'll twig

                  • Galvin doesn’t feature in the Paddy Power market for the NH but he’s still available at 14/1 in their TWAR market with a full cash out option for any one looking for a bit of insurance. He’s best price 14/1 with Hills with no cash out

Surely there’s confidence in what he did last year - running in November then kept fresh for the festival. It would be in the back of my mind but surely of all the races best kept ‘fresh’ for it’s the NHC.

                      • Lieutenant Rocco, who was rumoured to have gone to Willie Mullins from the Tizzard yard, is actually with Nick Mitchell who has had his relinquished licence granted back. The owner is sponsoring the yard.

Cheers for the update, that clears that one up

Yep, and can be placed in doubles, Yankees etc, as an Any Race selection.

A very good option. Think they are the only ones offering that now?

Potentially, although that is when he was protecting a handicap mark?

Now that isn't an issue, I'd rather see him running... but Gordon is a better trainer than me
