Id expect massive improvement from her in that regard, and couldnt really see her challenging for a G1 later in the season tbh
Wouldn't be surprised if they put her back over Hurdles. Think Mullins said before that she was on the small side for chasing so maybe he is right. Picking up a decent handicap Hurdle (not necessarily at the Fez) might be the best route for her.

She's never really been a proper grade 1 mare though so i'm not really surprised. A very good mare yes. She's very small, so it might just be that chasing won't suit her in the long term + she'll revert back to hurdles.
As for Eldorado Allen i think he could have what it takes to be a contender in an Arkle for example, but i wouldn't have him down right now as a potential bet. He also made an error at the last, so wasn't 100% perfect himself....

Could definitely see stormy reverting back to Hurdles. Cheltenham isn't the be all and end all for Paul Nicholls but I would love to see her in the County Hurdle. Fast run 2 miles should suit her nicely. Owner and Trainer have combined to win the race in the past, I am hoping it is in the back of their minds again.

I really like him I've backed him for the RSA as he's 66-1 with betfair and imo that's much too big. Glad he got a decent mention on the stable tour.

That's the way I see him FTM.

Backed him quite early for the race, and although Hendo has a very poor record in the race I do really like DD, and think he could go well in it. 33/1 is fair.

I've also had a small E/W bet on him for the RSA at 66/1 as well.

My view on her is she's better in small fields being allowed to race how she likes, prominent or in the lead. Much harder to do in a massive handicap field- but you could be right!

I am hoping he has the class to go down the RSA route. Without taking anything Nicky says too literally - 'he looks a very exciting prospect for novices’ chases'. Personally I think 66/1 is an excellent ante post bet.

It really is and his 4th place finish in the Albert Bartlett reads as very strong form. He ran a bit keen that day. Very lightly raced with only 4 starts. At double the price I think the RSA is the bet atm. 33s for NHC should be there for a while.

Yeh nothing wrong with the AB run at all. I was blown away by the size of him that day, he was enormous. I'm hoping 'exciting novice chaser' = RSA - doubt JP spent £210k to find the next winner of the NHC!

Henderson doesn’t appear to have anything else for the rsa at this stage unless chantry house steps up massively in trip. Plus the fact that he’s never one to target the nh chase makes me think the rsa will be the plan for Dickie Diver.

Two very good points. He does seem to utterly detest the 4 miler

He also has Glynn, but you are correct, he doesn't have an abundance of 3m novice chasers that would likely be deemed good enough, and it was something I considered.

It was merely an opinion formed that DD would have a hell of a chance in the NHC, as opposed to what I believe would be a tougher task in the RSA.

                            • I've just topped up again at 66-1. While I agree the NH Chase will probably be an easier race for him if we're to believe the stable tours the RSA doesn't look as strong as it once did. Envoi, Fury Road and The Big Getaway all mentioned for other races leaves it looking more open to me. My 2 strongest fancies for the RSA are Dickie Diver and The Big Breakaway.

                              • Have followed suit on you lads & had a nibble at Dickie Divers 66/1 for the RSA, had a look back through the last 30 years runnings

                                - One 5 year olds
                                - Three 6 year old winners
                                - Eighteen 7 year olds
                                - Six 8 year olds

It seems to be a race you need a bit of maturity to win, like Topofthegame & Champ had in recent years, 6 year olds have terrible record & most of the top of the market are 6 year olds, Dickie Diver obviously lacks experience but should be physically more mature than most.
