Just something I had been told - thought would be interesting for the people who had spoken about it. Willie would have a strong team of novice chasers next season and this would be another.
He's on my shortlist and I'd be more interested in him if Willie trained him

Yep, particularly for the NH chase, although Patrick appears to have come around to needing more experienced animals for this race.

He did indeed although Willie tends to not have many experienced, novice handicappers for him to pick from.

        • Fusil Raffles entered up over 2m 3f at Chepstow on Saturday.

Expecting the trip to suit more than the 2m he encountered on chase debut.

                • If possible could someone get Emitom and Harry Senior priced up for the NHC both look like out and out stayers.

                    • Decent looking contest tomorrow at Chepstow.

The Cashel Man, Enrilo, Ask Dillon and Red River were all 140+ over hurdles and the others were no mugs themselves all over 130. The top five in the market are all 5's or under.

I've got high hopes for Enrilo, looks like a 3m chaser and even when winning last season looked like he was crying out for it. Has thrown in the odd under-par performance such as in the Challow after his G2 win at Sandown but in typical Nicholls style, he's looked like one that's been minded for this next stage. Would not be surprised to see significant improvement from Tizzard's either.

                        • Joseph O'Brien in his stable tour on ATR talking about Early Doors:

"Unfortunately, he picked up an injury when winning the Galway Plate and is unlikely to run again this season."

                          • A bit of clarification regarding Sporting John.

He was lame behind after Cheltenham if only for a few hours and hopefully that is the excuse that he didn’t perform but he could be very good. He won his first three races impressively and he will start novice chasing at a lower level and then we will go from there.

He jumped brilliantly today, travelled like a dream..cobden was brilliant today but on this occasion he delivered his horse too late, maybe he thought he had more gears but the horse looks good..looks a proper stayer aswell

He got beat in the final strides today but was pretty faultless apart from losing the race for his first time out this season. Chepstow has a number of similarities to Cheltenham and Thyme White, McFabulous & Enrilo all impressed today. Maybe this season could see Nicholls win a few more graded races than the past 5 years
