Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

  • Just on the note of Aramax race, De Bromhead really is fantastic at improving horses for fences.

A 100% this, i would be quite happy if it was the race that gets axed!

      • Pretty sure that the Kim Muir is the one that’s going.

        I’d have it:
        Kim Muir - 1/2
        No race - 13/8
        Bar - 5/1

Awe I hope not, I’ve good a record in the Kim Muir. I was hoping it was the Martin Pipe (The Boodles) , no one likes this race, that’s bad form from the people in charge.

          • I know we were all 99% sure anyway but Gordys just confirmed on Racing TV that Envoi Allen goes chasing

Surely they won’t want to take on Malone Road

What race would they be targeting you thinkf ?

Novice handicap chase if it survives or the Grand Annual

You think they won't try and win with A Wave Of The Sea? Aramax the other day was rediculous the horse jumped himself to the front then was massively held back! I was going to back AWOTS this week as well but had that nagging thought it could be more of the same!

                            • I’m getting more and more persuaded to Envoi Allen going towards the RSA regardless of what the early betting says, going to have a single on him at 7/1 to cover the many multiples I have him in for the Marsh and leave it at that, think I’d rather pile on at 6/4 nearer the time when the target is clearer than see endless multiples go down now... watched the Ballymore endlessly and still can’t decide if it was a burst of speed that won him the race or it was stamina kicking in up the hill...

I can see where you are coming from on this.

Connections bought EA for a Gold Cup, and they will learn more about staying trips at the Festival if they aim for the RSA.

Great call on the burst of speed v stamina kicking in.
It’s easy to take either side of this, or to assume both are right, with speed followed by stamina.

Bet365 have cut him for the RSA today to 6/1, the first contraction of price for the race, and not many going as big as 7/1.
