Not heard anything but I would assume so given his pedigree and background. He’ll also have only handicaps as an option over hurdles as he’s unlikely to be Graded class. Fences could bring about improvement.

        Thats what I think

        • Great start there for Darver Star, ballooned a few early but jumped well after that. Difficult what to make of it when theyre as strung out as that though

          • darver star wins easily...jumped a bit big at a few but controlled the race and decent first effort over fences

              • A nice enough introduction by Darver Star for sure, but the notable eye catcher was Le Musigny who stayed on really well at the end, and could turn out to be your standard JP plot job. Certainly ran like it today.

                  Yep.
He showed he's still a good horse.
I've not backed him and won't be going to, as I just don't like his profile (ex low grade handicapper going to be 9 in March with small stable)
                  If I was to criticise.
He spent too long in the air at a lot of the fences. But I suppose he was only trotting most of the time.

                  • Jumped left at a few too, outclassed these but will have to improve his jumping in better races

                    • Did it nicely. Bit novicey early but really warmed to the task. Smooth performance, given a nice lead and picked them up easily. That'll do for starters.

                      • Wouldn’t be for me for a Grade 1 race; too slow over his fences

                        • nice handicapping job by Conflated. Dont think the jockey had much to do with it. Darver Star was adequate - hopefully improve his jumping going left handed

                          • .....bookies reaction suggests Darver Star marginally more likely Arkle than Marsh.

Unibet definitely think so, still 25/1 for the Marsh?

                              • As low as 10/1 with paddy power and betfair jokebook for the Arkle. They should be ashamed of themselves.
