Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Few beers and that, but sure Cobden delivered him early enough?

    • I was impressed with Enrilo today, jumped and travelled well for a novice. I’m surprised he’s still not featuring much in any of these markets especially Marsh & RSA, I was expecting him to have halved in his odds after that today, like Emitom he did everything but win the race

You seriously expect enrilo to have halved in odds after being beaten by 0-6 the mighty don......I know the bookies like to cut odds for the slightest thing but that statement is ridiculous!! He won’t be anywhere near winning a marsh or rsa, he might have been of interest in the close brothers but that’s gone so forget about him

The way the bookies have been massively over reacting throughout the summer I thought his price would have moved a bit, that was a good ride today, still a long way to go but for a novice that was a good start to the season, he was 37 lengths ahead of the Cashel Man who was a good novice hurdler and who beat Enrilo at Newbury last December. Race fitness got him beat today like Emitom last week.

          • Henry quite keen on Cobblers Way for staying races........and has some good form

Would not be first decent horse to come out of spuds race down the field

Given connections and long 50-ish prices.......one to look at with cashout for NH and RSA ?

              Yeah one to look at.

He disappointed, pulled up, in the Albert Bartlett didn't he....but there have been a few horses do that, that somewhat surprisingly have gone on to do well at the festival.

No real trend to work with there of course.

I'd wait for an entry though.... it's only really Mullins, Elliott and Henderson horses that get clipped before an entry. Should be safe with big Henry. I'd assume you could get on as they crossed the line on debut to be honest even if they won.... horse isn't high profile enough (which is a good thing?)

                • Last of the 4s gone on Shiskin - so annoying these cuts, havent seen him mentioned anywhere yet so will likely get cut further before he runs

                  • Court Maid looked an out and out stayer just now. 2 from 2 over fences could be an outsider for the NH Chase.

Edit: didn't see he was only 20s and 16s in places.

Was my first AP bet of the festival for the RSA at a big 80 something on the exchange and any race 20/1 skybet .. Henry a genius at improving a horse for a fence and AB aside (had excuses) he had some good novice hurdle form

                      • 16:50 at Newton Abbot looks a tasty race tomorrow, I really like highway one o two and followed him last year, and will be doing the same tomorrow.

I know someone previously highlighted him for the Arkle on this forum, but I was surprised to see he wasn’t priced up already by bookies.

I’ve tweeted paddy power and Betfair for a price, does anyone know what to tweet 365 to get a horse added please?

I know the trainer wouldn’t be the most likely winner of a Cheltenham race, maybe more heart then head and can’t imagine he’ll be there i popular on the forum but i can be guilty of backing horses when they’ve done me favours before.

                        • I agree a cracking little novice chase for this early in the season. Personally think Stormy Island will be tough to beat with the weight allowance she gets. I think 2 miles is her best trip, and think she'd be better suited to the Arkle than the mares chase. Hoping all three jump well and we get a proper race, been plenty of non runners weakening good looking races the last week or so.

Managed to tweet 365 as well so just waiting on prices, I would hope for 40/1 to 50/1.

365 you go onto the race and press 'request others' at the bottom of the page and put the horses name into an email.

Not sure on tweets for them.
