Oh no, by that logic I have to as well.

Plenty will be pleased to read that.

        • So it is - in the Sun’s version he says he’d be shocked to see him over 3 miles in the UK but may do in Ireland at Christmas.

He was one of the best jumpers of a hurdle I'd seen when he won at Sandown a couple of years back. I've failed to get a run out of him at the festival two years in a row though and I need to consider my now marmite relationship with Mr Tizzard.

            • Felix Desjy a little chancy at a few of those but happy enough with that. Obviously difficult to assess as Raya time fell. But he can only improve his jumping and looked better the more he jumped.

              • Felix into 16's in a place. General 20's. Still 33/1 with Hills. Their odds compiler is asleep....zzzzzzz

Hes entered in one against fusil raffles and fiddlerontheroof..i really like fiddler when he won the tolworth my first thoughts about him were he looks a proper chaser and he was actually very high over his hurdles..i added him for the arkle afterwards quid EW at 66/1..think hell go well this weekend if he runs

That reminds me of Lough Derg Spirit - his hurdling debut had a few of us in absolute awe as a future chaser. He was very average and I was very wrong

                      • Remember when Paisley Park bolted up in the cheltenham trial, and straight after the race ITV racing where like "Hills still 6/1".... never sprinted so quickly to my laptop to get my bet on

Thanks hills compiler for being so slow lol

                        • Just always think for me personally Felix D will be better at somewhere like Aintree; I’d be very surprised if he won the Arkle

You are a hard task master. I thought it was a super round of jumping for a first time Novice. Made just 1 'error' where he got low 4 out but other than that he was foot perfect. Plenty left in the tank at the end as well. Nice start and has put down a marker for Shiskin and co.

I agree with this. I really like him but you don't win an Arkle with the choke out and brushing through fences as soft as Killarney's.

Lots have won from the front in the Arkle. He ran a decent 5th behind Klassical Dream in the Supreme one place ahead of Aramon and a whole host of good horses further back and was also 6,th in the Bumper so he does have course form.
