Anyone know how long sizing pottsie remains a novice chaser?? I really think he has an engine about him and if he can sort his jumping out then he could be very good..he runs today and takes on galvin over 2m 4f looking forward to that one

Felix Desjy runs in the 4.35 Killarny tomorrow, will likely be extremely short odds. Most books around 25s but 365 have 40s with the cash out so may be worth a small poke before the off as that will likely shorten.
Unless Gordy is going for that Gannual plot up and hes fat - what are peoples thoughts here? I dont think the any race price of 14s represents too much value

Originally posted by OutlawMin rating of 120, raced in at least 2 races over 2m7.5F and finished in the first four. Also to have raced in a chase at least once in the current season for any that remain novices.
All horses must have a minimum BHA rating of 120 to participate. This change brings the National Hunt Chase in line with the G1 novices’ chases staged at The Festival – the Racing Post Arkle Novices’ Chase, the RSA Insurance Novices’ Chase and the JLT Novices’ Chase
Horses must have run in at least two chases and must have finished in the first four in a chase staged over an extended two miles and seven and a half furlongs or further
Horses must have run at least once in a chase during the current season.

If Galvin is targetting the NHC and goes same route as Rathvinden (same ownership) then he'll run in the Neville Hotels chase as Leopardstown at Xmas over 3 miles. I'm sure there are plenty of other 2m 7.5f opportunities for him to get qualified. Whether they'll go NHC route now though I'm not so sure. 16/1 TWAR still available with Hills which is the same as his best Marsh price. Just 10/1 with Skybet.

Don't get me wrong, the experience is invaluable and it's entirely possible. But he's only needed to jump round.
