Another Fakir Doudairies type here. as a JP 4yo going chasing, with loads of weight advantage in the first few months, but none allowed at Chelters in March.

Still out in Canada for one more week so if someone could look in to the breeding of Aramax to see if it screams Arkle winner would help me.Had a quick look but only have my phone here. Cheers peeps.

Maxios (sire) has only been active for a short time in NH circles so there is not a lot to go on. Given he was best over 1m - 1m2f when racing, I’d take a stab that his progeny will be 2m - 2m4f. Aramax is a half brother to Aramon and he’s an out and out 2 miler.

Judging by the betting, they are already putting in the groundwork for a nice handicap mark.

                6/4 > 7/2.

He shaped nicely but you are right the jockey started battling with the horse after the last fence trying to slow him down! Oh well hell win a handicap at some point but im dissapointed in myself for backing him

                      • Do all JP’s Festival handicap hurdle winners, put in a string of dog-dirt performances afterwards, to plan for another Festival target?

If the answers yes, then Saint Roi’s reappearance will be interesting.

I feel like more do than don't. He's already targeting the Grand Annual

                                Yes, and yes

Unfortunately, given his new rating it is perfectly feasible he goes for the County Hurdle again.

I just hope he proves way to good for that, but history wouldn't be on my side.
