Arkle/Marsh/RSA/NH Chase - Novice Chasers 2021 (new)

Anybody else got Big Getaway backed for the RSA and NHC but not the Marsh? Bit unsure what to do. Can cash all bets out and switch to Marsh, but don't want to make any hasty decisions and regret it later.

Wouldn't be in a rush to back anything for a Marsh. (Assuming people have Envoi backed like most will)
1) If Envoi turns up you are most likely playing for a place on all known form
2) The horses being backed for the Marsh may not even show up and you'll either be scrambling to cash out or losing money

One of these races the Marsh this year for me if you have Envoi at decent odds / roll ups I would just leave alone at that. Personally don't see a need to go try find horses against him if you think he is the winner (which assume most do)

Yep spot on. Absolutely no need to put him through that again. Plenty of really good prizes to be had at home. He'll not travel.

His 2 Chase starts have been right handed though and he jumped slightly right in punchestown the first day then badly right at either the last or 2nd last as soon as the rail disappeared and nearly ended up on the floor. Will have to see where entered next but 2/2 starts so far been right handed and doubt he travels over without testing the waters left handed first.

He’s got a huge engine and would be some talent if they can straighten out the jumping. Although I’m sure he’ll pick up a few grade 1s regardless.
