And Fusil battled well, on ground worse than the last day that they said he ran badly on.

Obviously just not a going day the last time and jumping mistakes.

The horse I liked the most was the Nick Mitchell one, he looked the best horse and jumper, and just paid the price for the pace he went in that ground.

Chantry House is surely better than that but he never traveled and his jumping isn't good enough at the moment.

Drawing a line through Chantry now, awful run. I have no idea if he wants further or not. Fusil I like but hes always going to clout one, hes either foot perfect or just ploughs through 1, if he cuts that out he could be a place chance in the Marsh maybe.

I've backed Asterion Forlonge but he's got plenty of questions to answer. I may back Fiddlerontheroof think he'll target this race and in hindsight his 2nd lto was a decent run on ground probably a bit quick for him 33-1 with Hills.

To be honest that’s why I’ve left it for now, not that I think Envoi is unbeatable (although he might be the closest thing we’ll see to it), but especially being the intermediate distance race would-be runners have the option to go up & down in trip and you just think a lot of horses with a potential chance at winning a festival grade one will want to dodge envoi. It’s a hard enough game but when you’ve got no idea who actually turns up, and are probably playing for place money in any case, it’s one id really just rather leave for the day
