Got Energueme any race 27/1 and an Arkle bet at 45/1 but i must admit maybe he will go Marsh. Having said that if Mullins think hes his best i am sure he will take on Shishkin over Envoi.

A case of trying to find positives that aren't there?
Robbie Power messed about with her going to two out but despite that has, for me, stayed on nicely despite losing ground at two out. She also raced widest of all throughout.
She will almost certainly be better over 4 furlongs further and now has some respectable course form in the bag.
I thought it was a good run all things considered, in the context of a NHC.

Did RP mess her about? I'll have to watch it back but looked to me like they quickened away from her.
She raced wide but by not to an extreme and it wouldn't have cost her the race, imo.
Yep she'll stay but the winner stopped. Had he ran to the line I'm not sure anyone would be highlighting the positives
Added to that, she might not even run.
I didn't watch it live but read the comments on here before watching the race and have to say I'm underwhelmed.

Good to see all is well with TBG (wish he would be more forthcoming with some of his others!!)
THE BIG GETAWAY seems fine after his run at Navan last weekend when he finished third on his chasing debut.
He probably just needed it badly. He’s a big unit and with the extended break he had because of the Covid shutdown, he possibly needed it more than most against race-fit rivals on the day. I’d imagine he’ll be back out over Christmas.

But Robbie was painfully slow approaching both the last 2 flights, not sure he was struggling for a stride or what, but he slowed considerably into both.
He may also have been minding the horse or felt that she was tiring, but that theory doesn't wash as much when you see how much he rode her after the last. Even though he may have felt he had to at that point given the winner was fucking about.

I'm going to go back and watch though - only watched it once

Apologies forgot his debut was over 2m 4f, Energumene that is.
Agree with what’s being said, don’t know how I didn’t notice it before but some price difference and it’s PP shortest, no brainer.
If KD is good enough he’s almost certainly Arkle bound imo along with one or 2 of Elixir, Blackbow and Unexcepted. With the other stepping up.
Asterion Forlonge possibly Marsh with Energumene and it leaves potential for TBG and monkfish RSA and Five O’Clock NHC.
Right Mullins novices sorted if good enough
If only!!!!

There was not much urging at all, so can only imagine that he didn't feel she had a lot left.
But he never really asked her for much till he'd jumped the last.
The switch inside, before the second last was an odd decision also. But also could have been due to fatigue.
