I've added Chantry House for the RSA @ 40/1. I am firmly set the target is the Marsh Chase but I hold the horse in high regard and plans change. It's not really too clear who JP's RSA horse will be, they could easily swerve Envoi Allen - and I just thought for 0.5pts @ 40/1 it was the right type of bet given I managed to wrap Chantry up yesterday for the Marsh @ 46/1.

Annoyingly 22s is available for BO place Ballynore and CH place ANY. But I'm content with my position atm, but that may change over the next few hours...

I’m guessing he came with a big reputation from France but he’s only been running in small fields over hurdles. He’s got a Chase rating of 153 off the back of 1 run and win. Am I being a bit naive or ignorant but I can’t see what the justification is for being 16/1?? He’s only won 1 small field race in France out of 3. Is it bookmaker fear that he’s potentially a good thing or early season hysteria

Jump at the second last was very nice indeed I have to say! I think he was getting on top of Pic when he fell but we’ll never know for certain.
Nico did need to keep him going needed a couple reminders and boosted into a couple down the back. Did it well enough though.

Not really sure what to make of that. No pace and a few scrappy/slow jumps early from Chantry - I think he would have had the measure of Pic D'ohry but couldn't be 100%. It is a shame as it would have given the form some substance. He jumped the last two like Sprinter Sacre so it wasnt all bad. I am sure Chantry's next run will tell us plenty more.

The Ferny Hollow/Bob Olinger race played out perfectly for me. I have a good bit on Ferny Hollow for the Supreme which I believe l, on viewing today, is the perfect race and it'll take a good one to beat him. I backed Bob Olinger at 33s for the Albert Bartlett but not too much, Ballymore is still a big possibility for him although I hope not.
