Skeltons do really jump well though for novices.

Yup, also chuck in they will rate him at worst high 140s after todays easy win given previous hurdle form too(not saying that is right but inevitably it will be considered) hard to envisage him rated sub 150 come March really unless he has two average runs now. In those scenarios when touching 150 your better off going into the novice race the majority of the time as if you can win a hcap off around 150 as a novice your essentially a graded horse anyway.
They've not ran a novice in it since.
I also have in the back of my mind that it's hard to win the Annual from the front, but I may be wrong with that. I genuinely cant remember, but can picture a lot coming through travelling well to win. (next sensation did)
I don't know but I'd imagine they may be reluctant to lat another novice run in the race.

Yeah plenty seem to think going from the front isn't favourable, there doesn't appear to be any general run style that is preferred as a multitude of styles have won it of late. I will add it always seems harder going from the front with no cover but the flip to that is you have no potential traffic problems so swings and roundabouts. Anyway enough on this i can't see him in a GA either.
But he was going well.
They've had runners in it since but not novices., They've been older horses like Marracudja & Two Taffs.
I did back Greaneteen last year in the race though, so that means I'm a hyprocrite and not totally against novices rated 150 - when it suits me.

Great start for Allmankind on the chasing scene.
Skelton had another Juvenile Hurdle Festival third Nube Negra, who after a short second season in handicap hurdles went chasing last season, started with two excellent wins (beat Ballymoy on debut) and then 2nd in the Grade 1 2-Miler at Sandown to Esprit du Large, and then 2nd in the Grade 2 Kingmaker at Warwick to Rouge Vif.
He was another one that Skelton didn’t want to run at the Cheltenham Festival, and was planning to run at Aintree instead when racing stopped.
I am wondering if there is a similar plan going through his mind for Allmankind."Journeys to Glory, breathing in his head".

.
North Hill Harvey dying in the Grand Annual has no relevance to what they'll do with any novice they have they deem good enough.
If Skelton starts worrying about horses dying, he's stop training?
If they think novice hurdlers have an edge, novice chasers do too.
Just in case he has a fall...maybe they should retire Allmankind "he owes us nothing", "deserves his retirement"

It's a renowned rough race, and was actually moved in the programme off the back of deaths in it.
It wouldn't surprise me if the trainer thinks twice about running a novice in the race in the future.
All's I'm saying, and not quite nonsense me thinks.
It's a lot closer to nonsense to suggest they maybe already thinking of the grand annual with a four year old who's just won his maiden that you haven't seen run
