It was very Lobosesque which is out of character for me

He's a good horse. He chased home Envoi Allen in the Ballymore last season and that's good form. We're looking forward to seeing what he can do over fences and he stays well.
      Thanks JM, much appreciated

      • No if The Cap Fits an awfully weak Rising Stars at Wincanton. Looks a penalty kick for Grand Sancy.

Entered in the Drinmore at the end of the month AVL. Suppose he will get a run into him before then and probably wont be overly concerned by the trip.

Ground does seem quick and he's a big lump

                    Yep, correct decision.

                      • Looks more like a veterans chase given the level of familiarity with most of them!

                        • FWIW I've been looking forward to Easywork going over a fence. I appreciate he raced very keenly in the Ballymore, but second behind EA is not a bad result. I fancy him for RSA, and at 28/1 and 16/1 TWAR I reckon he's been overlooked. I just think he needs a bit of juice in ground for his debut over fences. Probably the timing and going are more important than distance.

                          • I rebacked Captain Guinness today for The Arkle (PP 35/1 1pt ew) after reading HdB update in the Sporting Life

His seasonal return at Tipperary was obviously disappointing, but he was found to have a fibrillating heart. It’s a similar thing to what Sprinter Sacre and Denman had. Rachael just said that he just lost all his power behind. It was still wrong the next day, so we sent him to a heart specialist the following day, and it had corrected itself. Apparently that’s good, that it had corrected itself, so he’ll start back slowly again, and we’ll aim for another beginners’ chase at the start of December. We had been delighted with him up to that point, he had been working well beforehand and he jumps well.
