We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.
I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

I let myself down with him last season as I touted him early doors but he never came good. I’m not sure DOC being on board means they’ll target an amateur race for sure but it could have some substance. DOC actually recommended the horse to the owner so knows him well and has ridden him before.
Probably doesn't mean a whole heap, just something I thought about as I was drifting through the cards tomorrow And now I've convinced myself he'll be riding him at the festival

Down to earth with a thud.
He won't stay for either of those properly will he?

Yeah, completely unsure on if he would stay or not, but won his PTP over 3m, so the Kim Muir would likely be within his compass.
I always am a tiny bit wary about staying just because they've won a point over 3m. Most points are over 3m so class is usually enough isn't it?
The range of ability in point fields is the equivilant of the range of posters on this forum. I don't have the class to win at any trip!
We know Galvin is obviously Gordon’s main hope for the 4 miler, but another of his that has caught my eye at a big price is Aforementioned. If you look how he’s been campaigned this season as a novice he’s got a very similar profile to Ravenhill in that way, both were summer jumpers as novice chases, both ran well in open company in ‘National’ races despite their novice status (Ravenhill lost by a head in the Kerry National and Aforementioned recently won the Munster National), and Ravenhill ran in the Troytown for which Aforementioned has just received an entry.
He should have no problem at all staying the 3m6 at all to my eye, and his victory in the Munster National looked easier than the winning margin alone suggests, I’m sure he could be even better than his current rating of 136. Obviously there has been no comment or suggestion that this race could be a target so it’s speculative but worth getting on side at 50/1 imo. Also worth noting that 3 out of Gordon’s 4 winners in this had summer campaigns and relatively quiet winters the season they won (Chicago Grey, Tiger Roll & Ravenhill)

Good call that.
And it wouldn't be the first time he wins the race with his reserve.
Envoi in the same race Samcro started off it, and according to Irishracing is wearing a tongue strap just like Samcro did for the first time 12 months ago.

Certainly an interesting alternative to what is a now a short priced Galvin. On Breeding he wouldn't get the 3m 6f, that said he shouldn't get the 3m, but he clearly does, so that can go straight out the window
I quite like the angle in, summer form etc... and the comparison with Ravenhill in close enough. He'd also benefit from Lisa O'Neil (at a guess) on board, so no bad thing either, and whilst he lacks the class of Galvin, the price is enough to make him of interest for me as an alternative, should, god forbid, anything happen to Galvin.
