Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

  • I think a fast paced 2m is the one for him however it would be tough to say whether his better form over hurdles was over 2 or 2.5

Really? Maybe need to re watch it and have another view, or maybe my pocket over my head but I thought was decent.

        • I thought he was decent as well, maybe for a handicap or an Aintree type horse

It might be me who needs to rewatch it. My mate just text to say how impressed he was and commented on his good jumping.

It feels like I was watching a different race

            • No reason to cash out if you've already backed it but no rush to get on if you haven't.

              • Andy Dufresne - Breeding strongly suggests a trip for me.
I'd ignore the trip today as he was just getting a run.

Although Gordon thinking Battleoverdoyen needs dropping back to 2 miles might skew this thought process a bit.

                • ...plenty of Andy Dufresne blue on Oddschecker for both the Arkle and Marsh. A general 20-1 for either, bits of 25’s and plenty <20-1.

12-1 from 14-1 in Hills a/r market (this mornings 33-1 ‘win today’ price looking decent now).

                  • Any news on Epsom Du Houx? Looked a really awful fall.

Racing TV showing the replay on twitter when the horse looked like he was shaking out means either they’ve acted like tosspots yet again OR the horse has made a remarkable recovery after being a million to survive in the aftermath of the crashing fall at the last.

Just seen Racing TV have tweeted to say the horse is up ok! Great news. Have to say I’m incredibly surprised though. The horse was doing that horrible thing they do where they shake their leg upon hitting the deck. Glad he’s ok.

                          • I think 2.5m will be his trip. JP already looks to have a fair few possible contenders in the 2m division over in Ireland so this seems sensible. He was a bit novicey over 1 or 2 fences but this was his first outing? He won going away, eased down in a time by far the quickest over 2m on course today. As a first outing I really can’t see what there wasn’t to like.

I am with you here OW. Was a positive first run back. We just don't know how good this lad could be but the noises from the stable have always been positive. Gordon took the slowly slowly approach missing Cheltenham last year so I am hopeful there will be plenty of scope for progression this year.

                              • Does anyone think that they'll potentially skip Cheltenham again and wait for Aintree/Punchestown. If they feel he's better off over Marsh distance I can't see them taking on Envoi with him.
