He wasn't a superstar bumper horse and not made for such races last year and found a few too good at the major Spring festivals. But he's got last years experience, which will be more than many with how this season has gone. And importantly for me bar Acey Milan being infront, he only had his own stable mates infront of him last season, otherwise he was the best of the bumper horses in Ireland and the UK in 4 runs.
So if you think last years crop of bumper horses were better? (I think Mullins bumper horses last year were better than Blue Sarri) then he would have a chance? The very best bar Envoi Allen would appear not to be going? (Malone Road inj, Andy Dufresne, Fury Road etc)Last edited by jono; 23 February 2019, 08:54 PM.

Been having a look at this race today, and the mares in particular. The quality in training is obviously increasing since the introduction of the mares races making their allowance even more valuable in races like this, which may be evidenced by their recent success.
Anyone have any strong opinions on Santa Rossa or The Glancing Queen? Santa Rossa impressed me winning a grade 2 last time & the glancing queen has some useful course form beating a couple of subsequent winners. Both available at 25/1.

Paul Nolan is looking forward to seeing Latest Exhibition bid for Cheltenham Festival glory in the Weatherbys Champion Bumper.
Runner-up on his racecourse debut at Limerick in December, the six-year-old went one better in impressive style at Naas last month to earn himself a trip across the Irish Sea.
The son of Oscar is a 33-1 shot for his Festival assignment, but Nolan believes he could outrun those odds.
“Latest Exhibition won well at Naas and hopefully he’ll go to Cheltenham. He’s sound and well and hopefully will give a good account of himself,” said the Enniscorthy-based trainer.
“He galloped through the line very well. He’s a six-year-old, so it shouldn’t faze him and hopefully he’ll run a respectable race.”
