This is Seriously bizarre/concerning. Anyone with any intel as to why? Is he just taking a long term view here?

              • and I've just cashed El Barra for full stake (at 25/1) and backed NRNB at 25/1.

                No brainer.

                • I knew i didn’t make this up - 8 week lookback on the vaccination required.

Suspect lots of Willies are being vaccinated this week hence lack of weekend entries?

His vet got him 100 vaccines last weekend (probably needed 300) The difficulty is working around Fairyhouse and Punchestown as they would need another one before then (unless the requirement is relaxed which would not be a surprise)

                    • For anyone waiting for an Irish horse to run, there are only four chances after this weekend (and only two if the horse is a colt/gelding and over 4 years old) Horses have to be placed in first 4 before 28th Feb. Remaining races are:

                      Punchestown 20/2 (4 - years old only)
                      Thurles 21/2 (Mares)
                      fairyhouse 23/2 (5,6,7, years old)
                      Navan 24/2 (Winners of 2)

                      • So it almost HAS to be the Fairyhouse bumper?!

yep, not sure b365 will be sharp enough either, so just wait on entries then cash out

                          • be useful for many to know Glenloe's options,

Is it a fact that he can enter and then get a mark before the weights announced following week or not ?
Or do we cash before entries day ?
If he can enter I'll risk leaving my bets, but would be useful to know his options on the weekend and run up prior to the weights announcement.

The entries for both Fairyhouse and Navan come out next Tuesday so you can wait until then. Make sure to go the HRI-RAS site to get entries as quickly as possible. Horses can be entered in the Winners of 2 first time out and they will benefit from not having a penalty. On the downside, it's a pretty tough way to make your debut.
