I’ve taken the 33s on Eden du Houx. The owner loves the festival & pipe can ready one for the race as we know. Can’t see they won’t run ( unless injury etc) so happy to take the price now than see it potentially reduce with nrnb.
Eden Du Houx is interesting isn't he...
The roll of honour for the race he won at Ascot is decent, with Didtheyleaveuoutto, Western Ryder, Coeur Blimey, Supasundae, Seven Nation Army, Captain Cutter and Shutthefrontdoor all winners of it.
I’m expecting straight to Cheltenham- they started off in the Plumpton race they won with Kings Palace - this was from the Ascot win:
“After making a successful debut under rules at Plumpton earlier this month, the four-year-old gelding took his form to a new level when making all in the St Andrews Holdings Championship Standard Open National Hunt Flat Race.
The Pond House handler said of the 8-1 winner: “I was not sure about making it with him, but these bumpers are usually go-slow and I said as he had the experience I thought we might as well go on.
“He always does his work easy at home and I thought he would improve from Plumpton. I thought he would be a bit more impressive at Plumpton, but when he gets to the front he only does enough.
“He is a lovely horse and I expect Caroline (Tisdall) will want to go to the Cheltenham Festival with him.”
Ive had a couple of small bets in this so far
Glory and Fortune 25/1
Eden Du Houx 33/1
Im waiting for the mares race at the Dublin festival as I've a fancy it that race which could fit my trends.
Blackbow is still eligible for the champion bumper, if they so wished.
Wouldn't be able to run in a NHF on the racecourse beforehand.
Race conditions: It is for four, five and six-year-olds which have not run under any recognised Rules of Racing, except National Hunt Flat races, Irish National Hunt Flat races or French AQPS races. Horses are not to have run in more than four National Hunt Flat races and, before February 27, must have been placed first, second, third or fourth in such a race
I think it's touch and go whether he will make Cheltenham but you'd expect that hurdling will now be left until next season.

You'd think so Archie. Writing was on the wall with no entries. And his setback. Iv an any race bet of which id be very happy with if he went for the bumper. But more of a bonus if he does rather than an expectation.

Not heard anything, but mullins hasn't been running many in bumpers....so he could be fit and well- but there will be a queue with few races to fit them all in.
