I don’t think 5/1 is value now with it being this far out but I was very impressed with the ease he moved away. Disappointed I let this slip through the net

I did tell you at 28s lol.
Charlie - Envoi Allen might be better, but that isn't the problem, as he's 33/1 and already in my book

Just for the bumper. Was happy to take my chance with that.

For those late to the party and mulling about 11/2 being a price etc iv'e seen a firm called REDZONESPORTS offering him at 8/1 , can't say iv'e had dealings with them but David Jennings seems to be promoting them via a youtube channel he offers up called "Upping the Ante "

A quick Twitter search for Envoi Allen led me to someone who had requested an 'any race' price from SkyBet & PP. SkyBet went 7/1and PP went 25/1
I get the feeling he may well start in bumpers but will be held back for hurdles next season. I haven't seen him myself but some say he's a big, grand horse, so can potentially see him being a Ballymore type for next season, anyway that's way off, but for now I will be keeping my powder dry on him.
On another note and in relation to the above mentioned, I finally remembered to watch the replay of Malone Road destroying Mt. Leinster and I really am impressed with that performance I must say!!

Re Envoi Allen, obviously anything posted by unverified people on Twitter has to be treated with scepticism, but there was a post from a lad who went to Cheveley Park Stud last week and they specifically singled out Envoi Allen as their best. Make of that what you will. It is interesting that Envoi Allen was sold out of Colin Bowes Milestone stable for £400,000 the year after Samcro left for £335,000. Huge sums in NH. I was watching some of the clips on ATR and Gary O'Brien brought up Envoi Allen to which Gordon said 'saving for a good one at Navan. I like this one', with a beaming Cheshire Cat grin all over his face.

Agree 100% with regards to the Twitter stance, don't take it that seriously myself but was more interested that pp offered such big odds for a horse that is supposedly a 'good thing' especially given the connections through Betfair they have with Elliott. Leads me to believe we won't see Envoi Allen at the festival but he will be next seasons Ballymore 'hype'.

I'm not saying you shouldn't back him, at 33's he's worth chancing, but for me I will hold fire for now.
