Battleoverdoyan reminds me of Santini and by that I mean he will be a good hurdler but great chaser. I think it will be placed at Chelts, not winning, but would be a great bet for RSA next year.

I still can't get away from Commander of Fleet for this. Yes, he's beat nothing to note and lost when running over an inadequate trip LTO, but if you watch that replay he came round the bend absolutely cruising and got done for a turn of foot.
I will be disappointed if we see him over 2m again this weekend, he has an entry over 2m 6f so i'm hoping this is the route they decide to go down as i'm heavily invested in this race.
Should he go and win this weekend over 2m 6f, I can see him fighting for favoritism for this come March!

Birchdale
"He was very good at Warwick and the race has worked out well with the second, third and fifth all winning since. I liked the style of his win and he did it like one that would progress from it.*
This is a good test for him, there are some very smart prospects in opposition.*
Jarveys Plate*was impressive last time in beating a horse that was well fancied and*Brewin’Upastorm*has also looked a nice horse. He is giving up experience to both of them and if he can rise to the challenge, it will put him bang up there with the likes of Champ"https://scooby91horseracingtips.com/

Jarvey's Plate
Had Brewin'upastorm but cashed that, so hoping he don't bite me in the backside, though have him in a couple of dutched multi's.

And nothing for the bartlett in that time period.
Hopefully that's a decent hand as it's the same as mine bar the latterhttps://scooby91horseracingtips.com/

"asked about champagne Platinum and I’m pleased to report that he absolutely fine and will probably have one more run before Cheltenham. We’re thinking of keeping him to two miles (and Barry tends to agree) because we’ve already got the 2m4f division covered with the likes of champ and much of it also depends on what happens with birchdale tomorrow"Last edited by Scooby91; 25 January 2019, 05:10 PM.https://scooby91horseracingtips.com/

Birchdale from NH blog.
We were forced to miss Warwick because he wasn’t 100% but we gave him a blood test yesterday and nothing appears to be wrong so we’re good to go. The reason we are running this horse, and not Champ, is because we want to give him as much experience as possible (which Champ has plenty of) whereas Birchdale has only had two runs so could even have another run after this. This is a good test for him and the form of his win has worked out well with Clarendon Street scoring at Wetherby which obviously gives me confidence. Jarvey’s Plate was very impressive on New Year’s Day when beating one of ours in I Can’t Explain and to be honest on what I’d seen at home I expected I Can’t Explain to win but he never really looked like getting his head in front and in all fairness he wouldn’t be that far off the ability of Birchdale on their homework so it’s difficult to put Jarvey’s Plate’s win into context (as far as I am concerned) because I don’t think our horse performed to his best that day. Birchdale could be very high class, he’s got to go out and prove it now.
