I know he's in the Savills Chase but I'd prefer to run him in the Listed Chase at Tramore on New Years Day or wait for the Kinloch Brae in January

I've not seen Blackbow mentioned for a bit, has Willie said he's a contender?

Would be surprising to see him start a horse in that race regardless of how the grounds been... a grade 1 on debut oiver hurdles would be very rare?

Its only a hunch, he is the only horse not entered any where else over the Christmas so hears hoping.

Been watching the races back again and battleoverdoyden sure did impress me, he was entitled to beat them and I liked the way he negotiated his obstacle's and powered clear.....I still think he's a good bet at 14/1 and will be topping up very soon.

I think he'd run them in whichever race suited them best. Could feasibly run them both in the same race.

Angel's Breath may well end up here but I don't think it'd be because of Mister Fisher

That crossedy mind yesterday too Folski, Al Dancer will complicate things further, ill be holding off cashing out my Angels Breath ticket until there’s a clear picture regarding targets.

He’s also got Rathill who is going for the Tolworth next. As they’re all different owners I would think they’ll go for the right race.

I was taken with I Can't Explain at Sandown on Tingle Creek day and think he'll be right up there in the pecking order.
Bar Mister Fisher who I think is a definite 2 miler the rest could probably switch between 2m-2m4 depending on ground so that could decide targets nearer the time.

ICE has 2 entries coming up - 1 over 2 miles at Newbury on the 29th and another in the Ballymore trial at Cheltenham on New Years Day. I'm hoping the latter and if that's the case i'll add him for this race at 25/1

I'm hoping the latter for birchdale and similarly I'm completely taken with him. I think he's very good.

Hendo has said angels breath. Rathhill and mister fisher are 2 milers .

He's similarly plenty for 2 1/2 of which I personally like birchdale

These we're the comments from Hendo, that'd give the Ballymore option a bit of weight too...

Henderson said: "We use the race quite a lot, I think, don't we? This is a nice place to start them off and when you have a nice horse, it is always good to start them off at a nice place.
"He handled the ground well, but it was quite hard work. But that is why you'd run him over two miles in that ground, as he would probably run over two-five on anything quicker than that.
"You wouldn't mind seeing him doing it again, as he has only had one point-to-point, so I would not like to jump into too deep a pond, too soon.
"He is only four and he has always been pretty professional. He is very straightforward. At the moment, there are no quirks or foibles hiding there. He seems to just get on with his job."

The line up for tomorrow’s Challow Hurdle at Newbury is very competitive. I’m a big fan of Brewin’upastorm for the Ballymore but this seems a slightly strange route as it’s always a tough race.
