He’s a nice looking son of Shantou who won his Irish Point to Point very impressively in April and he’s a horse we think an awful lot of. He will love the ground and is pretty forward so I’d be quite hopeful of a bold show

Hmmmm not sure what to make of that!
Angels Breath has an Entry next friday at Ascot Billymag ... over 1m 7f.

      The kennel gate.
It's a well known supreme route for hendo.

Hopefully he beats Thomas derby who's decent.

            • Just got in and watched Battleoverdoyen, and subsequently missed the better prices, but he certainly impressed me.

Samcro was all the rage last season and done no different to what Battleoverdoyen did today, yet you can still get 20's for the latter, I think Samcro was somewhere around the 5/1 mark from memory.

Momus would be no mug to make your hurdles debut against, being only 2 3/4 lengths behind Defi Blue (finished 3rd in the Grade 2 @ Navan today) LTO & 4 3/4 lengths behind a well regarded Sancta Simona on his hurdles debut so to do what Battleoverdoyen did today on debut has me quite excited by him.

I will be jumping on board, and agree that whichever of himself or Tornado Flyer win @ Naas, should they both turn up for that, will rightly be favourite. I think he may well go into many multiples after that performance too.

FWIW I can still see TF coming back in trip myself.

Have covered him for the Supreme now too despite my gut & his breeding telling me he’ll be better over further. Bonus of 365’s cash out option!

I’m glad to see Mister Fisher has another entry. After his disappointing debut I was going to cash him out if I didn’t see him over the Xmas period.

Cracking Smart went to Naas and ended up being the one for the AB, any danger this lad could do the same?

He's obviously well regarded. Entry in itself suggests that, hoping he runs!

I think not, Cracking Smart never went over 2m over hurdles, this lad has plenty enough pace for this race.

Battleoverdoyen may not end up at Naas but comments suggest he could do.

Ofcourse, if he gets outpaced and beat.
You'd like to think that won't happen though.

I took an immediate view and thought Albert Bartlett so backed it with 365.

I think the 35/1 available with Lads is a big price however you get the impression they've got ones better than him.

Ruby Walsh took the brave man's route up the inner and had a willing partner who wasn't flustered by the traffic congestion. Once the gap came, he found a smart turn of foot to see off stablemate Getareason by two lengths.

Mullins admitted that Easy Game continues to surprise him and faced up to the fact that he must now come under consideration for Cheltenham.

Before then, the Lawlor's of Naas Novice Hurdle on January 6 could be his first crack at Grade 1 level.

Mullins said: "He has come under the radar and he keeps surprising me. I didn't think he would be this successful to be perfectly honest with you.

"I suppose that puts him in our Cheltenham picture now and we'll give him an entry in the Grade 1 at Naas next month now, although most of our past winners of this race had only had one run.

"He's had six now and won four of them. He's got a very different profile to my other winners and has had a busy season."

On the runner-up, Getareason, Mullins added: "He showed he has an engine and jumped better today. I think he's up to winning Graded races."

This Grade 2 has an illustrious roll of honour and Easy Game follows Mikael D'Haguenet (2008), Boston Bob (2011), Pont Alexandre (2012), Briar Hill (2013), Bellshill (2015) and Next Destination (2017) in winning for Mullins.

He is now generally a 20-1 shot (from 33) for the Ballymore Novices' Hurdle at the Festival. Mikael D'Haguenet is the only Mullins-trained horse to do the double.

Iets have little look at what he beat today, in my view nothing the 3rd I would beat myself, Ok he looked good however his time was 3 seconds slower than Envoi Allens time. So he's not for me plus mullins seems to hold all the aces.

Bumpers are usually faster than hurdles races as there are no obstacles to jump, also carrying 4lb more.
