Hello Fat Jockeys,

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

  • Yeah not enough rain this week, the 2m 4f maiden at Gowran next Thursday would have suited him perfect you'd have thought don't know why they didn't give him that entry.

To put that in context, even hearing that news i havent backed as dont like lightly raced horses for this, for the reasons that others have mentioned.
Was more interested in Lisnagar Oscar to frank the Rockpoint formline when entries came out (and Emitom). A race with no standouts yet but if Lisnagar Oscar wins, the 25s for Rockpoint will disappear. If Dickie lives up to his hype, the same applies but as mentioned before, he's not battle hardened yet. Fingers on the buzzers though

      • Emitom treated Lisnagar Oscar with disdain.

Lisnager Oscar, back down in trip today, will do him absolutely no good IMHO. He'll lose today, I don't think he's a 2m 3 1/2f horse, his stamina doesn't suggest it and neither does the way he ran against Rockpoint. From a form perspective, even if he somehow miraculously won (can't see it), would mean very little for the form of Rockpoint.

Probably gives more emphasis on the form with Emitom, who beat him at around the same distance as he's running at today.

Oh without doubt, Lisnagar Oscar is a three mile chaser. But he is still 3.4 as we speak to win this. Dickie is running FTO, Lisnagar Oscar could well win over this trip though which would mean Rockpoint would be cut. This novice hurdle is a watching brief but could result in a cut or two for the Albert Bartlett. Was the only point im trying to make

For sure he is likely to be cut should Lisnager Oscar win, but I don't class this as much of a form boost personally.

Still confident on Rockpoint though, even more so after that race at Warwick.

              • Nice introduction for Dickie there. Nearly won too. Good trial for this race.

Green as grass, keen early, typical educational ride from Barry. I was impressed.

Agreed. And stayed on very strongly. Dare I say it will take a good one to beat him if he lines up here?

Perhaps, but arguably the best two in it last year lost as well, both with NH and both shorter on experience.

                      • Way too green to even consider for a race like the AB for me... they'd probably only get one more run into him now?

At least it gives them a good marker for Birchdale

                        • One to beat? Lisnagar Oscar has already been beat twice. Dickie Diver is far too keen and green has no chance.

I both liked and disliked his run there. Pretty much done everything wrong but stuck at the task and Clearly has an engine.

Would have to wait to the next day and see what he's learned before I took a real view

                            • Done loads wrong, finished well, couldn't be confident about him for this race on that back of that though, not to mention his overall profile for a race of this nature.

No chance? Wow! That's an interesting view.
