I'm surprised they've pushed him out after that CoD. 33/1 taken.

Yeah I’m surprised too, I thought they would have expected him to get bet but abit of an over exaggeration for me. Already on 16’s might take 25’s

They done the exact same thing with Kilbricken Storm after he ran over a trip too short prior to winning this race, the difference being that Rockpoint has shown he doesn't lack for pace but is ultimately a staying type.

Time will tell, but I suspect 33/1 won't be what he will be come the day of the race.

Haven't backed it myself but it is a classic overreaction. Giving weight on good ground over an inadequate trip. I suspect Tony is balls deep now

What did anyone make of Beakstown today ? not saying hes good enough to win this and will no doubt be better next year over fences, but that looked an efficient run today and i'm not usually taken by skelton horses

I was very impressed, I like the horse as he is a bit of a monkey but it seems when his mind is on it he is very decent. not sure if he is quite good enough for this though.

Yeah he looks the rough gritty type you would want heading here but aye wouldn't have him down as likeliest winner. Least he's shown some reason as why they've paid big bucks for him from ptp scene and plenty to work with next year now.

Good luck to them they stumped up £400k they'd have been a shade dissapointed to date. But there in business now.

If he shows up, I will probably a few quid on him Scoob, seen as I have followed him this season. Be a right royal pain in the ass if I hadn't anything down on him on the day and happened to win.
