Not a definite but wondering what price I can get on the exchanges. Bet365 are 10/1 but ante post applies, want a NRNB on him, but SkyBet only go 5's which isn't enough for me.
With the way he’s travelled over 2 and a half I’ll be stunned if he’s sent over 3m at the Festival. Genuinely think that stepping back to the Supreme is more likely.
I’ve backed him for nothing and don’t intend to (purely because I’ve missed the price, I do think he’s very nice) - just a genuine opinion.
Henderson had the following to say after the Challow: ""You would have to say (he should stick to this two-and-a-half-mile trip) if he is getting it as well as he has the last two times. I can't see him coming back (to shorter)."
If he is getting the trip, a step up is more likely than a step down IMHO. Can see why people would think he could go down, because he is pulling so hard, so the fact is he was only outpacing 2m 4f horses not 2milers, personally, I think he'd get done over 2.
But no official quotes or anything? I'm not dismissing the idea, just wondered if I had genuinely missed anything regarding this one.
"Big and rangy with a lovely attitude, he was impressive in his only point and has had a good summer at JP’s Martinstown Stud, looking much more the finished article. He’s one we’re looking forward to enormously"

I see Valtor is still a novice, it would be a bit left field but wonder if they would run him in this. Ive not heard anything about his plans but he would have a very interesting profile for this if not really unusal. Connections ran Calett Mad in this last year who came back from chasing albeit he was half Valtors age!!!!
Would anyone be able to ask for a price i can only get WH to price up which ill do.

No word on DD being more suited to this race over, say the Ballymore?
Does anyone have a link to his PTP win, as his comments for it seem like he doesn't lack pace and whilst his profile for the Albert Bartlett doesn't interest me, he would be of interest if he went down the Ballymore route.
Looking over the race Sams Profile ran today it got me looking into Derrinross who beat SP earlier in December. His win over Christmas over Defi Bleu completely passed me by. Can only view the finish but I like the look of him for this. Then saw this a few pages back...
Backed Derrinross, 50-1 PP
Won that quite well giving 10lb to Mullins horse who didn't get a run.
Not a bad race, in it's infancy for pointing towards the Bartlett
Hoped that there still may be a price close to that or 33's but best price 20/1.
Not a race I want to get too involved in yet and after Limerick the trainer made a point of saying soft ground he'll go:
I'd be fond of going to Cheltenham, I've never been there, and if he got soft ground he'll run in the Albert Bartlett. I think he'll be better with a stronger gallop
So on that basis not going to get involved yet but great price quevega
Second season hurdler, already had 5 runs. Tough battler and looks sure to stay. Race has featured both Martello Tower and Penhill in years prior. Lots to like.

That 20's is 365, everywhere else is shorter - I think I'll take it now and see how it looks tomorrow with a NRNB cashout.
I missed the 50s at the time (well done Q), and haven't really looked at the Albert Bartlett since.
