Terrific debut from CE and a genuine contender. At the moment I have he and Le Richebourg as being at the forefront of The Arkle. Lalor will have to produce something special to contend and I can't really have anything else on my mind.

And I should have added that this was a superb early call from Scooby. Outstanding pick. Sometimes you can be a bit bullish my friend but it's great when it works out. I hope he can go on and make a lot of people a lot of money. Ruby looked pleased and it's always good when he plays one down a bit. He diddnt go. He's been 400.+ for the CH since October and not a singke entry so you'd have to assume injured.

Is there no love for Paloma blue, his recent run looked pretty good, then without seeing anything particularly impressive from anything else his price has drifted to 20's+, looks a reasonable ew shout, given this race frequently cuts up a lot.

I backed him before the start of the season, but I can’t say I’d be confident in his chances. Hasn’t impressed me so far, though obviously there’s plenty of room for improvement & he’s in good hands. That’s what I’m clinging to!

I think paloma blue’s jumping will let him down, was awkard at most of his obstacles last time....he was one of my earlierst ante post bets for this race but i cant see him getting anywhere in this race with his jumping. I wouldnt back him at 20’s probably not even 33’s if im being honest
