Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

I think a strongly run 2 mile would be perfect but can understand the reservations

Completely agree. Won of the past performances by an Arkle contender. Dino won by a cosy 7L receiving 5lbs, but over 2m3f which suits his stamina and style over Knocknanuss’ hell for leather front running. Jumped well enough. I think he’ll have a fair few of the Arkle field under pressure from very early on. And there are doubts around several horses’ jumping in that field, so you never know.

      • Knocknanuss shortened a few points after that.

PP & Betfair 25's for Getabird now for this, can't be a positive.

              • Articulum only quoted with WH at 33s after that today...

Might get a decent NRNB price if patient - wouldn't run unless a huge performance in the Irish Arkle...

                • Kev - just back Le Richebourg if you haven't already - then you can sit back and chill out and stop looking for dodgy alternatives. Articulum did great - but he only beat 'the bulldozer'

                    2 pts e/w at 15/1

Got the makings of a nice book in this race though so doubt I'll just rely on one.

                    • Surprised Le Richebourg isn't fav. Best Irish form and a fast time. Stays strong. What is putting people off...

Was thinking the same thing, but see Defi Du Seuil is 7/1 with both PP & betfair, and Le Richebourg is 15/2 & 7's, seems like its up in the air as to which one comes here.

What did JOB say with regards to Le Richebourg's target, does anyone know?

Kevin Blake (race planner) said he thinks Le Richebourg deserves to be fav for the Arkle.

I think it's clearly in their minds....but ultimately, Frank Berry decides. Perhaps it's that reason?

Le Richebourg looks a stronger candidate than Defi Du Seuil over 2 miles to my eye though

                          • Joseph said they would stick to the Arkle route. Said he was pleased how he jumped better at a faster pace and was clearly pleasantly surprised at how well he had adapted to stepping back in trip

                            • Having said that I've just backed Hardline 65/1 down to 60/1. Beat Us And them 10L. Going the way right way and could be Elliot's Arkle horse. 65/1 a mad price.

To my eye too Kev. Can't see DDS running here but strange Pp/Betfair are so much shorter than anywhere else for him, excluding the NRNB prices of course.
