Very doubtful without another run. LR wins the Irish arkle and goes very short Imo.
I wouldnt mind as i have him. But can't see him being shorter than than CE. He'd hammer him over hurdles. He's only just ran. His price will continue to shorten all the way to chelt.
I understand I may look at it different. But he can jump. He'd blow these away over hurdles. All he has to do is jump and run to his hurdles rating. without any improvement. And he wins.

Not being in higher profile silks might halt the support ?
As silly as it is, Ricci/Wylie/Suede are more recognised? I know they had a winner last year in the Coral Cup but I do feel it gets factored in (to our benefit hopefully).
I'd chance CE now knowing it'd be the Mullins no.1 at the current prices.

Scooby,
If LR wins the Irish Ankle he'll be miles shorter. The Arkle isn't over hurdles, and Footpad is a great example reverting to fences. I have them both, but would have LR well ahead of CE.
Kev,
It wasn't the spelling mistake I was alluding to (I'm guilty regularly) just the fact that why should there colours be recognised as they've only had an Irish trained Footpad in the winners enclosure out of all those so-called hot horses. Just an observation.
PS: Im not counting Peace & Co

Then I would look at it completely different which is fair enough. I also have them both. But I'd have CE a long way ahead. Let's hope le richeburg wins the Irish arkle. And in your opinion you've a very live one. And in mine iv a decent back up.

Yeh good shout on CE Scoody. Given we are unlikely to see him again until Cheltenham it's going to be pretty difficult to go in feeling confident, but I'm definitely happy going into the race with 25/1. Will be interesting to see what's said by those connected to the Mullins yard in the preview evenings, despite obviously having to take everything said at previews with a pinch of salt, be great if they came out bullish

They're high profile, powerful owners, who have horses with pretty much every single top trainer in England and Ireland, and I guess France...
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it should affect a price, but Munir & Partner are definitely, definitely high profile owners with multiple graded winners.... certainly compared to the owners of Cilaos Emery.
Fine work scooby keep it up! Was impressed with the run today was cantering all over them I thought definitely got another gear but will need it arkle really looks like a cracking race this year can’t wait
