Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

  • No it’s not, but rather than have a below average card why not go against the grain and try and entice some of the bigger names who we haven’t seen yet?

If one track did it there’s a huge financial gain at stake with increased crowds - this is a pretty unique season so far in regards to lack of genuine soft ground. I’d have thought somebody somewhere may try and think outside the box and be proactive

    • Turn on the taps I say. If this becomes a long term trend racecourses will have to adapt.

      • They wont want to run their horses on watered ground - I promise you

        • I see 365 have followed Paddy and cut Cilaos Emery, a few extra marks to 14/1. I wonder has someone got wind that he is definitely running at Fairyhouse on Saturday regardless of the going...

          • Bookies are just cutting for fun now. They're probably worried they don't have 2/1 favs like normal at this time of year. JLT market with Dino injury was a joke.

You'd have CE a lot shorter right now?

Interesting, what factors do you take in, just horse ability?

While i've backed him i'd find it hard to price up a market where a Footpad could appear unexpectedly. Also the fact he hasn't run over a fence, and hasn't been seen in over a year??

                      • 100% no doubt he hasn't jumped a fence yet. Obviously there is doubt.

Doubt he will run on Saturday either.

They run at cheltenham on watered ground, quite often.
I'd imagine some tracks are more trustworthy with regards 'even' watering than others.
And some races are more important/valuable.

On ability alone. Hes the size and the scope. I personally completely assume they can jump a fence. Until proven otherwise.

                            Cilaos emery is the footpad.

On what we've seen so far Le Richebourg is the best of the Irish. I'm going to say Delta Work is Gigginstown's best novice chaser, so any form line with him looks good.

It's all on how Cilaos Emery gets on now, but I have the Irish form over the GB form, a question I posed on here about it a week or so ago.
