  • Very impressed with Lalor there, 10/1 still available and think thats a fair price.

Shame about Claim as had a couple of points on for this race but certainly looks as though he needs further.

      • Connections seem keen on Aintree over the Cheltenham festival which would be my only concern. Those on big prices, fair enough, couldn't go in on him myself now though.

Any idea the record of that race on respect to the actual Arkle? Runners/Winners?

        • Very impressive from Lalor. Poor Defi just didn’t enjoy it at all. Claimantakanforgan looks like going JLT now you would think?

This race hasnt worked out well as a trial. They've gone massively over board with his price he's just beat dynamite dollars and a horse who needs further.

100% he'll go further. He's been crying out for it for a long time. He'll have to show alot of improvement up in trip to be a JLT winner

My thoughts too. And I feel connections will likely prefer going primed for Aintree myself.

                • He did that well but it would be a disappointing Arkle (which at the moment this year’s could easily be!) if he was good enough to win it

                  • Can't knock that performance, absolutely not.

                    • Superb performance from Lalor. Aintree?? surely not.

                      • Yh can't knock that performance jumped loverly and the second and third had the advantage of being race fit. Hard to see where Defi goes now though didn't seem to enjoy it anymore, wouldn't right off Pingshou though first run for over a season and was still there turning into the straight before getting tired.

Good case made CCM originally - the nicest chase debut this season? Certainly is in the 2 mile division.

                          • I got lucky and went on PP straight after the race and they were sleeping. Still
Had him priced up at 33s so went £5 each way. They boosted it to 50s which was incredible.
Happy with that although I’ll be on their watch list now.

I haven't seen a better novice performance this season. He really took to his fences and the novice hurdle win at Aintree looks stronger than it did a couple of weeks ago with Bedrock and Coolanly boosting the form in recent days.

Maybe Defi was just the best of not a great year of juve's..
