Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Which would ordinarily make sense, but even Patrick must have known it was a Cheltenham Festival Preview he was attending....

Tbf it was a very straightforward question re Cheltenham, with a not so straightforward answer.

      • Adding to that Tony Mullins saying the same thing at a preview night, they must be trying to get him ready in what is a very open Arkle.

Exactly my thought, i half expected Thom Malone to ask him to clarify. Didn't make sense at all. He'll not be making the Arkle.

          • Looks like a decision has been made for Defi Du Seuil, and it is the JLT, if the exchanges are anything to go by anyway. Extremely weak. 14's to back, zilch to lay for the Arkle.

              Right decision if true....

              • Interesting decision- Not really sure there's a right or wrong one, he could go to either and still be pretty much the same price to win.

                • If they've made the decision now.
                  It's the wrong decision 100%.
                  As there is no need.
But the market strongly suggests that if nothing much changes and ground is normal they have sights on the JLT at this stage still.

                  • This PP and Betfair price discrepancy strategy feels wrong to me...

Nothing other than the exchanges to go on, but thought it was certainly worth noting. I wouldn't suggest it is 100% myself.

Betfair pushing things very large- while PP sit short.

BF are 6s on defi, whereas, PP 5/2

                              • Just watched the Lalor performance at Cheltenham back. Can't help but think, even after disappointing last time out, that had he performed like that at Cheltenham for hendo/mullins/elliot/nicholls, then he would be a fair bit shorter than 3/1, even more so when you consider the market has been decimated by injuries and non runners. As much as I want Lalor to win a Cilaos Emery return and win would be epic for so many on here
