Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

  • Those three set a very high standard in the RSA but outside those on the blind side is next in, struggled to beat talkischeap.. I get your view but I think the 4 miler is still a very competitive race ballyward and discorama would be ahead of on the blind side in the RSA betting in my opinion. Then again you couldn’t see horses like mortal impulsive star and le breuil being anywhere near good enough for an RSA so that adds fuel to your argument.

    • ....so it appears Kevin Blake was right when suggesting this was the target for Mortal. Both he and Codd think it has a chance.

Ok Corral looked good, but the race hasn't worked out so I wouldn't have him as high as the others.

Secret Investor was last of 4 on his next start,
        Rocky's Treasure was 5th of 7 beaten 31L
White Moon was beaten 27L by On The Blind Side

Topofthegame, Santini, La Bague Au Roi and/or Delta Work would all have beaten that Warwick field with as much ease.
What price do you think he would go off, 5/1? Hardly a million miles off the favourites.

You can pick holes everywhere if you look hard enough. Obviously, you can use Rocky's Treasure to beat Santini down if you so desired. Fact is OK Corral won the Warwick race in the style of a potential RSA horse.

The original post said he'd go close based on his Wawrick run.

I just wouldn't want to over rate that form.

He'd go off shorter than Santini if he re-routed IMO.

Waste of time thinking about it though and he was 8/1 NRNB not long ago

                    • An update from Nicky Henderson on Santini
WITH regards to Santini, everybody saw the video I posted on my twitter on Wednesday and after two very good days we thought everything was fine and we were through it but unfortunately he wasn’t as good this morning and the issue has reared its ugly again so we’ve had to remove the shoe and put a poultice back on his foot. It is 100% the foot, and absolutely nothing else, but because we’ve had to continue riding him it’s obviously jigged it up again which has not helped. It’s a very common issue and in any normal circumstance, you’d give them a few days off to allow the foot to heal and then carry on, but because we are in a race against time with four/five days to go we’ve had to crack on which has lead us back here. I think we are better than going back to square one and I’m hoping the poultice does its job as I really did think we’d seen the end of the problem but we obviously haven’t. The team are doing their very best and I am still hopeful that we will get there in time. Any further updates will follow.

                            • 5/1 - 11/2 the exchange makes me think the horse is much the same as yesterday. Defo not ideal for Santini backers

                              • "We went a bit regressive yesterday and it was the same today," says Nicky Henderson of Santini. "He has to be right tomorrow morning. Otherwise we are going to be in trouble."

Calls out tomorrow as D day - hard to see him running
