Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Yard don’t decide where JPs run imo

    • I dare say JP may not be overly keen to move a horse just because Nicky doesn’t have the fav

      • It's a fitness issue that would concern me about backing Santini if I even considered him as a danger to DW.

        • I was surprised Santini was fav after the Kempton race compared to TOTG...

Since then, missing the prep when it was badly needed is another negative (probably not to be OVER PLAYED) but a negative nonetheless.

I wouldn't lay him at 1/3 because it's not my style and I'm on at 16s 12s and 10s - but he's a poor price on what he's achieved so far....

          • The way he finished at Kempton I'd be surprised if no one thinks he can't turn over the form with TOTG at Cheltenham. Delta work however should be favourite but I'd have Santini a close second fav.

            • I like the horse but he's done sweet f all. At least Percy went out and smashed a competitive hurdle race and won the baby version last year.

I don't think anyone thinks he CAN'T - he's just priced up as if its a foregone conclusion isn't it...

                • I'd price it similar between the pair with DW favourite.

                    I've got 5pts @ 13/1 and 3 at 12/1 a/r. Agree he shouldn't be fave, and have laid 5pts back at 4.0.

Means that if he loses I can have a free night out on holiday, and an extravagant free night out if he wins

I also sat on Santini in his piece of work with On The Blind Side, who Noel Fehily rode. The rain was continuing to come down and the ground had opened up a fair bit by then.

We went in single file for the first five fences but then let them join each other, and they finished off well up the straight once we had switched to the hurdles track.

It was vital that we got a good bit of work into Santini as he is not the most over-enthusiastic at home, and this would have gone a long way to putting him spot on for the RSA.

                      • I nearely got excited about On The Blind Side this morning, but Talkischeap was giving him 6 lbs when they met at Kempton...so my enthusiasm wained....

and 14/1 isn't a big enough price to get excited about.

I like the horse though, generally.

What's the deal with OTBS? I've thrown the proverbial early season bet I had on him in the bin more times than I can remember this season. I though the last think Hendo said was he was going to Aintree. I know he took part in the race course gallop today and the atttheraces reports just seems to assume he is heading to the RSA as a result. However, none of Hendo's direct quotes actually say that (although why the gallop?). Can anyone shed any light?

On The Blind Side – He will have a gallop and jump around Newbury on Sunday and assuming he comes through that in good shape he’ll go for the RSA.

Superstar, missed this. Well that certainly is another one likely back from the brink now. He's a reasonable winner for me, paying a little less than Santini and Delta Work and significantly less than TOTG. Happy to have him in my arsenal as long as he doesn't chin TOTG on the line

Yeah I think I rememeber mocking you for the bet earlier in the season.

I'd let it run for sure... clearly talented...

I wanted to back him today but found enough reasons not to... If I was already on though, I wouldn't be trying to get out.

His price is just 'fair' or 'right'...
