Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

  • Don’t know why I didn’t pull the trigger on ballyward before today
    Considered it a few times
All in on ok corral, will have to stick with that now
If I was on ballyward at big prices and the 4m is the target I would of preferred Patrick to ride him today
I know he can school him at home but he would of learned more in a proper race

There's plenty of decent amateurs now. It's something that's overplayed imo.

      Lisa oneil
      Barry oneil
      codd
      O Connor
      Patrick mullins
      Will biddick
      Deegan
      Waley cohen

There all as good as each other. I couldn't care less personally which one of the above would be on one iv backed. I'd just be hoping its one of them.
      O'Connor / Mullins / Codd
      are better than the others.

Lisa O'Neill and Barry O'Neill aren't as good, Sam Waley-Cohen isn't as good as either - Biddick perhaps is getting closer.

Any of them could win it, but the big 3, are a big 3

      • Totally agreeKev... they also get to pick their horse from big yards. I can’t see Ballyward anywhere but here otherwise patrick has to ride for someone else.
Dereck won’t desert SUAF I wouldn’t think. Codd who knows....

            • So who does Codd ride? Not sure Elliot has a stand out horse for this yet

                • Im a little concerned with the Mullins talk of RSA for Ballyward??? The worry is that Mullins has nothing in the RSA.
I don't need another Elegant Escape happening in this race. It would be a killer as I've been sweet on this horse putting him up here some time ago. Fingers crossed that its not another 4miler stitch-up.

I was initially worried but less so now. Whereas MOL or JPM would tell Willie where to send him, Graham Wylie does not really interfere with what the Mullins team does. Given Ballyward was their only entry for this you would have to think this was the plan all along and Patrick will no doubt take the ride and try and emulate what he did last year. The combination of all these things all point towards the 4 miler IMO. If they switch it up il be as gutted as you

I think you're probably right Charlie. Just me being a tad negative. Wouldn't want for a better jockey than Patrick for this race Imo.

                      • Had 33's about Ballyward, as per page 3 of this thread, then Folski ruined any hope because of his age

Glad he has come back into the reckoning, as before OK Corral & Kilbricken Storm , Ballyward was my first hope.

Nice one COD. You were a bit earlier than me sorting your lists out.
                          I've 33s,25s,20s.
Ive also got Discorama any race 25s,22s. Was hoping he'd end up down the handicap route????
Not interested in any other bet in this race yet.

Some nice prices you got too Doctorwu

Fingers crossed he makes it and runs well. OK Corral is still my biggest winner now though, but either of them would do tbh.

Last seasons AB is that your chosen 1st port of call?

It wouldn't normally be, but given the conditions of last seasons festival I had the true stayer's for a race like this going close in the AB, and it at least looks like 2 of them, OK Corral & Ballyward may well end up here. Santini certainly would have been on the list too, but the early money for him was all RSA and that was decision made IMO for that one.
