Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

    Imo it’s not wide open
Can see a duplication of last years result
Believe each way money chasing 3rd place

The front 2 only have form with each other so I don't think it's possible to say its a 2 horse race. There closely matched to each other but you don't know how that translates to the rest of the field.

      • The top 2 set the standard but are they really that good? Lostintranslation looks like he needs to go up in trip. Never really taken to DDS. I've backed them both but they're not bomb proof.

Get where you are with DDS
Rarely seen such an improvement in 20 days ?
          Intensive schooling ?
          COD you need spanking 50/1?
Lost’ion only danger in my eyes ( yes not what they were)
          We’ll soon see

          • Probably not as sexy as the top two in the market but I'm now looking at Drovers Lane at 25/1 , who beat La Breuil last time out at Cheltenham over 2m 5f, rated 150 , (Defi rated 151, LiT rated 149) . Has entries in the 4 miler and RSA but this more his level and will go off single figures if taking his spot?

Going by odds checker, Between the top 2 in market and Drovers Lane, there's 13 horses, I've crossed 6 of them out of this race for sure and doubts surround most of the others

Not sure whether Rebecca would favour the RSA for drovers.
Not sure why I think that but it came into my head. so i've said it

My eldest lives in Leeds ( season ticket holder, blame the father )
Yaarkshire folk say what they like and like what they say
                It’ll do for me !
Still cannot see beyond top 2 in market
                CC ?

I'll be very surprised if neither wins. But time will tell.
They set the standard in the current market but they are not bomb proof. This is the most vulnerable graded chase for something to come in and challenge e.g. I would be interested in ToTG if he ran, but he won't. Marginally prefer Lostintranslation out of the two but it's very close.

                  • .....plenty of blue for Kildisart on Oddschecker for this.

                    • Kealy made a very convincing case for both his selections. I am a big critic of the RP, but Kealy is superb.

                      • Kildisart’s Cheltenham Win looked grinding but classy to me, over the trip. The trainer mentioned the JLT after the race. He could have jumped better, maybe he will at a faster pace, but boy did he stay on up the hill well. Took the 16/1 NRNB just before bedtime last night, and very happy to have that rather than back either of the front two.

                        • Like others on the forum, I have Champagne Classic at 40/1 - that’s my alternate to Kildisart.

                          • I mentioned him few weeks back and backed at 33s when sky went NRNB.
Scooby put some trainer comments on here in last couple of days where Pauling mentioned kempton then aintree for some reason.
You'd imagine they'd go here but it looks in a bit of doubt.

...I took 33-1 NRNB ahead of that run and I suppose in an open looking race it’ll have a chance if turning up.

Mentioned last night that he has two entries this weekend and PP has him favourite for the ten up novice chase on sunday over 3m. Normally a trial for the longer distances. but will depend how they shape and run and so I wouldn't be too concerned that it means too much. But if i was a backer for the JLT I'd probably want him to be declared for saturday in the beginners chase over 2m 4f.
